CCL have been receiving and forwarding our consignments arriving from Canada for several years now. Most of our clients are in the UK and CCL see to it that our goods get to them on time. Recently, we had a major contract to supply goods for the African Cup of Nations. We were on a very short deadline and with most major courier company's quoting 5 days to get them into Ghana we were worried! I discussed the situation with Rudee Bertie from CCL and asked for his help. He was able to get them to Ghana, cleared through customs (which is no easy task in parts of Africa) and delivered to the client the next day! When I get bogged down with questions that I don't truly know the answers to, I call CCL. When it comes to shipping, no problem, when a delivery needs to be made, I have the network, but when it comes to UK HMRC rules and regulations, I have no clue, so what do I do, I contact Customs Clearance and they get me out of trouble.
